Designed by Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen. Mikado is an old Japanese game in which players gather fine thin sticks in one hand, position them upright and let them fall. The sticks fan out beautifully before they land in a random pattern. The dynamics and lightness of the fan shape are the source of inspiration for the Kvist range of chairs.
